AMWorkPackage object

This object represents a work area in the vault.

Members (AMWorkPackage)
Name	Description
AccessRights property	Reserved. See “About reserved objects, methods, and properties.”
AddDocument method	Assigns a document to the work area (no events occur).
Baselines property	The collection of baselines created in the work area. See AMBaseline object.
ColumnPropertyDefCollection property	Collection of the properties shown as the columns of the All Documents in work area view.
Context property	Reserved. See “About reserved objects, methods, and properties.”
CreationDate property	The date/time the work area was created.
CurrentState property	AMWorkPackageState object.
DisplayName property	Descriptive name.
Documents property	The documents assigned to the work area.
ExecuteTransition method	Moves the work area to an other state (AMWorkPackageTransition object).
GetBaseline method	Gets one of the baselines created in the work area.
GetHistoryObjects method	Reserved. See “About reserved objects, methods, and properties.”
GetSelection method	See AMSelection object.
GetSubWorkPackage method	Gets one of the sub-work areas.
GetWorkList method	Gets one of the work lists in the work area.
GUIData property	Reserved. See “About reserved objects, methods, and properties.”
MaintainHistory property	True if history is kept during the lifetime of the work area.
MakeSelection method	See AMSelection object.
Name property	Internal name.
NewBaseline method	See AMBaseline object.
NewSelection method	See AMSelection object.
NewSubWorkPackage method	Creates a sub-work area.
ParentWorkPackage property	The parent work area.
Path property	The context path of the work area. Lists all parent work areas separated by backslashes (\).
ReleaseDocument method	Releases a document to the parent area.
RemoveDocument method	Discards/revokes a document from the work area.
RemoveHistory method	Reserved. See “About reserved objects, methods, and properties.”
RemoveSubWorkPackage method	Deletes a sub-work area.
Repository property	Reference to the current transaction.
RetainHistory property	True if history for this work area is retained after it reaches its end state.
SecurityData property	Reserved. See “About reserved objects, methods, and properties.”
Selections property	See AMSelection object.
SubWorkPackages property	All sub-work areas.
Template property	Reserved. See “About reserved objects, methods, and properties.”
WorkLists property	All worklists in the work area.
